The Android Heist

Afternoon of the Dead and Flee have both been pulled from Google Play after rampant piracy and extremely unfair practices that Google Play allows - specifically the ability to cancel any order by claiming it was an accidental purchase.

This situation was not expected.  There has not been a single issue in Apple's App Store or Microsoft's Windows Phone Marketplace in the three years that we have been out in the wild, juxtaposed to 100% of the Android orders being immediately cancelled after download in less than one week.

We are currently in the process of switching over to Amazon's Appstore – Afternoon of the Dead just launched, and Flee is currently under review.

I am going to stop here before this turns into a ten-page rant.

The Android Blitzkrieg

With the surprising generosity of Unity Technologies this week (not that they weren't already nice people), we have begun the process of porting our Unity-powered games over to Android.  Flee is already live.  Afternoon of the Dead will be out some time this month, and all future Unity-powerd games will be published for both iOS and Android.
We were already investigating the viability of adding Android as a platform, but the current sale on Unity's mobile plugins (they're free!) combined with how easy it is to port projects in Unity (less than one day!) made this an obscenely quick transition.
